Getting a great coffee’s important, and this morning I had an awesome coffee. I went to Lady Annie Coffee in Mount Lawley. Now, I love supporting local businesses in Mount Lawley. I live in Mount Lawley myself, and, of course, my business is called Mount Lawley Pest Control.
So, some of the things I noticed at Lady Annie were that the coffee and the cake came out really quick. So, there’s nothing worse than ordering, paying, and then waiting for half an hour for your coffees and cakes to come out. The coffee came out promptly, the cake was there as well.
Now, the cake as well—the sizing of the cake. There was a—the portion was generous, and if there’s one thing I love in this world, it’s generosity. You know, sometimes you order a cake and a skerrick of a slice comes out, you don’t really get to enjoy much of it. So, that’s one thing I really enjoyed about Lady Annie Coffee was the generous portion size.
Now, as well, I was there for about an hour and a half this morning. It’s a Sunday morning. I got there just after 9:00 a.m., I left at—oh, it must have been a couple of hours I was there, so I left around 11:00. I was in the shade the whole time, and in Perth, it’s really important to have shade in the warmer months because it gets so hot, that sun really just tears tears you apart if you’re in the sun all the time.
Also, the the owner of the business, Daniel—I know Daniel—so he was at the counter. It was Sunday morning, you know, the venue open seven days a week, and he was there Sunday morning with a smile, serving coffees.
Out the front, there’s a water bowl for dogs. As you know, dogs walking around, they’re walking in the hot summer sun with us, and it was nice to see the water bowl there for dogs to get a bit of a sip.
As well, if you go to Lady Annie Coffee, you can go for a browse at the real estate offices, you can check out some clothing, you can even get your shoes repaired.
So, they’re all the things that I love about Lady Annie Coffee. I’ll be going there again because I love supporting local businesses. I drink most of my coffee at home or at my clients’ homes, but I’ll definitely be going back to Lady Annie Coffee when I want to catch up with a friend. See you later. Bye-bye.
